A Grieving God

A Grieving God

May 20, 2025

As a church committed to praying for one another, we post this daily reminder we can all use for that purpose.  It contains a link to the “Our Daily Bread” devotional and a prayer inspired by the passage on which today’s devotion is based.  We hope you will find both helpful.  We also encourage you to read the “Bible in a Year” passages so that within a year you will have read the entire Bible.

Today’s Our Daily Bread is A Grieving God

Considering Isaiah 41:10-13, we worship You, Heavenly Father, our God Who is with us, strengthens and helps us, and upholds us with Your righteous right hand.  We thank You for vanquishing our immediate enemies of Satan and his minions, and our ultimate enemy of death, by virtue of the death, resurrection, ascension and current intercessory ministry of Your Beloved Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We pray in His Name that when we find ourselves in the throes of spiritual warfare, the intensity of fierce opposition, or the burdens of life in this broken world, the Holy Spirit will remind us not to fear because You have us by our right hands with the promise that You will be our ever-present help in times of trouble.  Amen.

Bible in a year: 1 Chronicles 10-12; John 6:45-71

If you have a prayer request or a prayer for all of us that we can share for one another, please send it to prayerchain@nbccparker.com.
